create a balanced rhythm between body strength and flexibility
by blending pilates, yoga and strength training into a one hour

Soul Circuit 60
This class takes you off the Spin Bike and back onto
the Treadmill, Elliptical, Rowing Machine, Stair Climber,
Recumbent Bike and Slide Board. You will spend 6-10
minutes on different pieces of cardio equipment doing sprints
interspersed with 6-10 minutes of strength training. Each
segment of the class will be different, changing and challenging
from week to week. This is an intermediate to advanced
class.
Soul Brotha
and Sista Spin
A
high energy spin class that incorporates high RPM music that
will fill your spirits and SOUL! Intermitted we will
challenge your upper body strength training while cycling with
2-3-5 lbs hand weights. Come and enjoy a fun sweaty class
that will build a Strong Body=Strong Mind.
Better Backs
Learn the exercises that will maintain and improve your
spine function. With a focus on education strengthening
and stretching, this 40 minute class will help you minimize back
pain, improve your day to day activities and prevent re-injury. Physiotherapist approved and monitored!!!!

Challenge your limits with Greg's Gut
Check. A combination of spin and boot camp classes,
this workout will improve your strength, cardio, balance and
agility.
Spin Circuit
30 minutes of spinning and 30 minutes of circuit training. A challenging fast
paced class.
Learn to Run 5 km
and 10 km
This 10 week program is designed to teach the beginner and the
runner who wants to train for the next level. The classes
will be held outside, rain or shine. Classes will also
include the teaching a variety of running techniques, training
and guest speakers. A specialized training schedule will
be provided.
Boot Camp
This class is designed in a circuit style using non-traditional equipment. An intermediate fitness level is required. Both lunch hour and evening classes are available.

Kids Energy Workshops
Workshop sessions will vary from some activity to no activity but are geared towards fun and education about fitness, the human body, nutrition etc… in a comfortable, non-intimidating environment. Energy sessions are activity geared that will vary from a specific sport to outdoor spring boot camps to family obstacle courses etc… This class will be scheduled as requested.
Pilates
A progressive mind body conditioning program that develops deep core abdominal strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness.
West Coast Soul
This challenging and fun workout will
sculpt and tone your entire body. The class incorporates
strength and flexibility training, Pilates, Ballet and Yoga.
Weights will be used to tone the upper body, Pilates to sculpt
your abs, ballet to define your legs, and Yoga to stretch and to
relax. All levels welcomed. No previous experience needed.
Relaxation
Relaxation: Are you stressed-out? This is the perfect class for you. You will learn Yoga based techniques to relax. You will leave feeling rested and rejuvenated. This is a 30 minute class. No experience necessary.
Yoga & Pilates for Osteopenia and Osteoporosis
Two different classes designed for an issue facing many men and women. One class combines a Yoga and Pilates element while the other class combines a cardiovascular warm-up, small weights, stretching and a cool down. Come and learn what you can do to help combat your diagnosis.

Kripalu Yoga
Kripalu means compassion. You will be guided to move at your own pace, honouring the needs of your body in each moment. Kripalu Yoga develops body, mind, and spirit in a non-judgmental way. The poses will strengthen and improve flexibility of your body while the breathing and relaxation will encourage peace-of-mind and inner balance. In this class we will focus on alignment, safety, and coordination of breath while moving into and out of the postures. The class will consist of a centering, pranayama (breathing techniques), warm-up, asanas (postures), meditation, and relaxation.
Martial Arts
Aikido
Aikido is a Japanese martial art, with a focus on self-defense. Basic Aikido techniques include throws and joint locks, and an important part of beginners' practice is learning to "follow" techniques and fall safely from any position. Emphasis is on the moral and spiritual aspects of the art, placing great weight on the development of harmony and peace. For that reason, competition is not permitted in Aikido, nor is there emphasis on fighting. "The Way of Harmony of the Spirit" is one way that "Aikido" may be translated into English
Aikido movements are soft, rational, and smooth as in nature and by applying a bit of force, these can become devastatingly effective. The gentle quality of Aikido makes it appealing to men and women and children regardless of age. It not only offers spiritual development but also provides exercise and teaches proper etiquette and behavior.
Nick Petrescu, the Aikido class instructor is a second degree black belt trained under Sensei Yumi Nakamura, 6th degree BB and with over 20 years of experience.
